Over 1,000 people attended Norwest’s first Winter Festival in mid-July, with the park next door to the Norwest Sales Suite on Solent Circuit, Norwest covered in snow, complete with frosty pine trees and a giant walk-in snow globe.

Roving characters, Elsa from Frozen, and a snowman, kept the kids and their parents entertained, and there was a jumping castle, face painting, an animal farm and more. While the kids were busy, adults enjoyed live entertainment by 2 Way Split and warmed up with a coffee or a mulled wine.

The Lions Club members were busy barbecuing sizzling chicken and sausage sandwiches and hot soup, while the fairy floss machine proved popular with kids and adults alike, along with the fake snow machine which shot out “snow” on the grass dance floor.

Hosted by Mulpha, the Norwest Winter Festival provided a wonderful opportunity for Norwest residents to gather with neighbours, friends and family and have a bit of fun.

Mulpha Norwest Executive General Manager, Tim Spencer, said “It’s a great way for us to show our support for the thriving community that lives and works in Norwest.  It’s also a great opportunity for us to engage people on our vision for Norwest as a leading Smart City of the future that is focused on its people.”
