The Norwest Community Association hosted a community Easter event on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Due to the wet conditions, the event was moved from the Norwest Quarter Community Garden to the Mulpha Sales and Experience Centre. Despite the heavy rain, the event was well attended, with families and children from the community coming out in droves to celebrate the holiday.
Luckily, the event still managed to make use of the garden space during an hour of sunshine. Kids played games and had lots of fun, they enjoyed tasty pizza and juice boxes. Kinda Mindi gave away freebies and there was a small Easter egg hunt, as well as a prize for the best Easter hat. The event also featured face painters and lots of dancing, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
Easter event was a success and brought the community together for a day of fun and celebration. The Norwest Association looks forward to hosting more events like this in the future and is grateful to Mulpha for sponsoring the event.
